The Royal Navy of great Britain followed the movement of seven Russian warships after British side noted for their unusually high level of activity in the Strait of Gibraltar and the North sea. On Thursday, March 26, reports Sky News.
A total of nine ships of the British Navy controlled the movement of Russian ships in the waters near the territory of the United Kingdom.
According to Lieutenant nick ward (Nick Ward), this measure was adopted to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus. He stressed that the UK Armed forces provide assistance to the health authorities to the territory of the Kingdom remained safe.
On 3 February it was reported that the British fleet followed the movements of the detachment of the Northern fleet of the Russian Navy. The Russian squad consisted of the missile cruiser “Marshal Ustinov”, the big antisubmarine ship “Vice-Admiral Kulakov”, the average sea tanker “Vyaz’ma” and rescue tug SB-406.
