The overall unemployment rate in the Omsk region fell to 6.4 percent by the end of 2019. At the same time, the registered unemployment rate — 1.2 percent — still among the lowest in the Siberian Federal district. This was reported on the website of the regional government.
In 2019 the Omsk region took the 12th place among Russian regions in providing services in the field of employment. To the employment centers appealed about 70 thousand people, 76 percent of them found jobs.
In the region has increased the demand for vocational training. With the assistance of the employment centers 6.5 thousand people received a new specialty or increased the level of professional competence. Pay special attention to residents with disabilities: last year, two thousand of them have received assistance in employment, 60 per cent found work.
2020 Omsk Ministry of labor began implementing the national project “Productivity and support employment,” which will conduct training of employees of enterprises and the modernization of the employment service. “Modernization of the employment service involves the introduction of uniform requirements to the organization of activities of employment centers, the redesign of services, individual approach to each applicant,” — said the Minister of labour of the region Vladimir Kupriyanov.
The national project “Productivity and employment” will be implemented in Russia until the end of 2024. In total it will allocate for 52.1 billion. The project aims to optimize processes and reduce their costs, reduce the cost and improve the quality of products, training employees, ensuring effective employment and increase of labor productivity up to five percent per year. Its first curator was appointed first Deputy Chairman of the Chairman of the Russian government Andrey Belousov.
