The Russians with a mild form of the coronavirus, which is allowed to cure at home, will face difficulties in purchasing essential drugs, according to “Izvestia”.
We are talking about antiretroviral drugs lopinavir and ritonavir, which take in HIV infection. The combination of these medicines recommended by Ministry of health and the Department of health of Moscow for the prevention and treatment of new virus.
The interviewed experts predicted that legally the Russians will not be able to get these drugs because they do not occur in the usual pharmacies and are sold on prescription. They allocated a special order of the government and use them for other purposes now impossible.
“Izvestia” noted that he began actively selling Indian analogs of lopinavir and ritonavir in Internet. Associate Professor of Infectious diseases at rnimu Pirogov Ivan Konovalov has advised citizens not to buy these drugs because their use can be dangerous. “They have a number of side effects, including life-threatening consequences. You should not even try to look for these drugs,” — said the source publication.
