Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin extended the restrictions on entry of foreigners into the country to stabilize the situation with the spread of the coronavirus. On Wednesday, April 29, reports “Interfax”.
The restriction on the entry of foreigners in Russia operated until April 30. Mishustin signed the government order about prolongation of the measures taken up until “the war against infection has not completed and the epidemiological situation in the country improves”.
However, for some categories of foreigners measures are reversed. In particular, entry into Russia will be opened for specialists in servicing imported equipment.
The head of government noted that the exact date of full lifting of restrictions, including the crossing of the Russian border, is impossible to call.
Russia has banned the entry of foreigners and persons without Russian citizenship since March 18. Restrictions do not apply to employees of diplomatic missions and consular posts in Russia, and also for car drivers the international automobile communication, crew, air, sea and river vessels, train and locomotive crews in international railway communication.
