The average drop was 2 percent. In 16 cities the cost of “the secondary” for the period increased, two price variations are not affected. The greatest cut price tags marked in Yakutsk, Krasnoyarsk and Arkhangelsk by approximately 4-5 percent. In Yekaterinburg, Simferopol, Kazan, Krasnodar, Moscow and Leningrad regions, the cost of the secondary real estate fell more than 3 percent.
In Moscow per square meter on average fell by 2.4%, in St. Petersburg — at 1.9 percent. In six cities recorded growth in the cost of housing by more than the percentage (in Cherepovets, Vladimir, Makhachkala, Naberezhnye Chelny, Novokuznetsk and Ryazan).
“Secondary market, usually so conservative, this time reacted to the situation quite sensitively, analysts say. Apparently, the apartment owners realize how serious the situation in the economy, and I foresee difficulties with the purchasing power of compatriots. They understand that preferential mortgage at 6.5 percent would chip the remaining demand from “secondary” to the buildings”.
