The organizers of the “Oscar” will change the rules for selecting films for the competition in 2021 due to the effects of the epidemic of the coronavirus. This was reported on the website of the national film awards.
The competition for the first time will be allowed the films that were not released in cinemas because of the pandemic, and was shown only online. To participate in the selection of members of the Academy must provide a copy of the film for viewing on a special website within 60 days from the day of the premiere online.
