Representatives of the Pro-Russian movement “Kulikovo field” was accused of trying to organize on may 2 in Odessa a number of provocations on the anniversary of the tragic events of 2014. About this reports the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on his page in Facebook.

The Ministry said that “provocateurs” were planning to spread among the inhabitants of the “separatist materials”, in which they allegedly called for the creation “republics Novorossiya” and the violent seizure of state power.

These actions were to become the informational motive to discredit Ukraine in the international arena, according to the SBU. During searches of the detainees found leaflets with the division of Ukraine into “Republic of Novorossiya” and “Ukraine Bandera”, stickers with slogans “Odessa-Russian city” and “Odessa — Russia”, the newspaper “Novorossiya” and other products, which in Ukraine is prohibited by law.

The SBU opened criminal proceedings under three articles of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

May 2, 2014 in Odessa there were massive clashes between supporters of federalization of Ukraine (participants of Antimiani), and activists of Euromaidan. According to official data, during the riots 48 people died and more than 200 injured. Most of the people were burned in a fire in the House of trade unions, sheltering the Pro-Russian activists.
