Sberbank has sent more than three billion rubles to fight the pandemic coronavirus. This is stated in the press release of the credit organization, arrived in edition “Tapes.ru”.
It is clarified that this amount included including the money raised by top managers and employees of the Bank. “Top managers of the Bank decided to send for this purpose their wages for April and encouraged all employees, shareholders, customers and partners of Sberbank on opportunities to contribute to the project, which aims to fight the disease, prevent the recurrence of the epidemic and is a contribution to the future of the country,” the company said.
Funds will be used to fight the pandemic, creation and production of vaccines and drugs against COVID-19, as well as creation of conditions of accessibility for citizens of Russia. In addition, the money will be directed on support of regional organizations of health care; supply of medical equipment and personal protective equipment; for construction, equipment and commissioning of hospital for infectious diseases in flood-affected Tulun.
