The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba during the online summit of foreign Ministers “channel four” has declared readiness to talk with the Ukrainians living on the territory of the breakaway Donetsk and Lugansk national republics (DND and LNR). About it writes “RBC-Ukraine”.
According to him, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov struck up a conversation about the official dialogue between Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk. In response to this Kuleba emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities will not negotiate with “those illegal groups that are not properly authorized to represent the interests of the Ukrainians in the occupied territories and displaced persons”.
However, he agreed with the need to build a dialogue with their fellow citizens living in the breakaway republics of Donbass. “Moreover, we are committed to this,” said the diplomat.
Earlier, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak also said that Kiev never conducted and will not conduct a direct dialogue with the breakaway republics of Donbass. At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories Alexey Reznikov said that the Ukrainian authorities are not going to fix the special status of Donbass in the Constitution, as envisaged by the Minsk agreements.
