The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, placed under medical surveillance because of a suspected infection with coronavirus, reports “Interfax” citing a source in medical circles of Moscow.
According to the publication Baza, a few days ago Kadyrov complained about the discomfort, considering it a symptom of SARS. Later, his condition worsened and doctors advised policy to apply to the Moscow doctors. According to unofficial sources, he was diagnosed with a lung lesion, the diagnosis COVID-19 posed under suspicion.
In a press-service of the head of Chechnya had previously declined to comment on the subject of his health.
Russia previously had coronavirus infection several governors and high-ranking officials, including Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov, who continues treatment.
