Putin urged to give students the opportunity to work

Need to significantly expand opportunities for students, giving them the right to work, called on the President of Russia Vladimir Putin during a meeting on the situation in education in the context of a pandemic coronavirus. It is reported by TASS on Thursday, may 21.

The Russian leader stressed that the current situation is not a reason to increase the price of tuition at universities. He assured that he would personally control the issue of support of education.

During the meeting, the President called blatant provocation the rumors that distance education will replace face to face. However, he expressed confidence that the experience of education in distance mode will definitely come in handy in the future.

Also during the meeting, Vladimir Putin announced the start date of the unified state exam (use). According to him, the examinations will start on June 29.
