The head of RUSNANO Anatoly Chubais criticized the idea of handing out money to all the Russians just in the context of pandemic coronavirus. According to him, it looks lightly, reports RIA Novosti.
Chubais believes that financial aid should be based on per capita income. “Now all of will give 20 thousand roubles. Well, well. How much is two or three months? If I remember correctly, this is about two trillion rubles. And then what after that?” he wanted to know.
Chubais pointed out that, if there is a second wave of the epidemic, health workers, who also need support may not get. The government’s decision on assistance to families with children he calls reasonable. “It is wrong to support those who have the minimum wage, because, maybe, his son earns 10 times more”, — said Chubais.
Also the head of “RUSNANO” announced its main surprise in a situation with COVID-19. According to him, from the point of view of infrastructure and psychologically the inhabitants of the country were ready for the coming crisis.
