Russian tourists are explained under what conditions, a trip to Krasnodarskiy Krai, including Sochi from June 1. This was reported on the website of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) with reference to Director of travel company “Dolphin” Sergei Romashkina.
It is noted that since the beginning of summer will open the only health centers in the Kuban. Upon arrival, travelers will be asked to show a ticket, a sanatorium card and the certificate of absence COVID-19, as well as confirmation that they had no contact with infected people within 14 days.
In addition, it is specified that the region must arrive to the resort by train or by plane, not by car.
However, Romashkin believes that it is necessary to wait for the final pronouncements and official documents, since there is no accurate information about how will be organized recreation in the Kuban. He also added that theoretically the arrival of the tourists in terms of an extended quarantine possible.
“A tourist arrived in the region, never stopping, just arrived in a sanatorium, where he is throughout the rest,” explained Romashkin.
Earlier in may, in Krasnodar Krai extended the quarantine imposed in the region due to the spread of the coronavirus, until June 6. The decision to extend the restrictive measures was adopted by the Governor Veniamin Kondratyev at the meeting of the regional oberstab.
On 18 may, the Director of the Department of resorts and tourism of administration of Sochi, Svetlana Batalkina said that the beaches of Sochi are 90 percent ready to receive tourists after the lifting of the quarantine of coronavirus. According to her, since June 1, guests of the city will open the 65 beaches, spas with medical license.
