The Spanish “Celta” expects to keep the Russian striker Fedor Smolov to the end of the season. It is reported Faro De Vigo.
The club wants to extend the agreement with the player on the background of the resumption of the season in La Liga and thus later the end of the season. Celta have already held first round of talks. Also, the Spaniards hope to keep another seven loaned players. It is expected that the Spanish League resumes on 8 June.
Smolov, whose rights belong to Moscow “the locomotive” has moved to the club from Vigo on loan in late January 2020. Before the pause in La Liga, caused by the spread of coronavirus infection, the Russian has played six matches for the club and scored one goal scored.
