The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated Muslims on Eid al-Adha. His address published on the Kremlin website.
Putin noted the activity of the Muslim community in the country and its contribution in maintaining peace and harmony in the society. According to the Russian leader, today, in a complex epidemiological situation, the mission of all Muslims is the most popular and is saving the lives and health of people.
Earlier, on may 18, the President addressed the Muslims and asked them to mark the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha at home. Putin added that Muslims calling for the clergy. They are asked to abandon the collective prayers and meetings of the big companies.
