More than half of Russians have reduced wages from the commencement of the restrictive measures imposed in connection with the spread of the coronavirus. This is evidenced by data service “Work.ru” at the disposal owned by Gregory Berezina RBC.
According to the research, 58 percent of employed people, employers lowered wages. Two thirds of respondents also reduced the premium of the earnings.
At the same level of wages remained at 39 percent of citizens. To increase income said only 3 percent of respondents.
The survey was conducted in may among the 2.3 million Russians over the age of 18.
In January, before the epidemic COVID-19 in Russia, more than 80 percent of employers planned to increase staff salaries. 20 percent of the companies promised to review salaries in January, another 16 per cent in the first half.
