According to him, now being completed preclinical studies in mice and Guinea pigs. “I checked all possible toxicity. The result is positive,” he said. Moreover, ending the study on monkeys, which was found to have a high immunogenicity and safety of the drug.
Ginzburg added that if the final results of clinical studies are positive, then in the first week of June, he will appeal to the Ministry of health for a permit to the next stage — clinical trials on volunteers.
Deputy Director of Institute of epidemiology, corresponding member of RAS Alexander Gorelov said that in the SRC VB “Vector” scientists have created a prototype vaccine based on recombinant viral vectors, influenza, measles and stomatitis, and in addition, another promising synthetic vaccine. But what of the prototypes have reached clinical trials, the developers did not say. “Preliminary results are expected in early July,” he said.
May 22, Gunzburg reported that scientists have tested for its vaccine against coronavirus infection and reported a successful test. He said that the negative and adverse effects after application of the vaccine is not revealed.
