In Russia changed the rules of purchase of the insurance policy, the cost of which can now vary depending on the individual characteristics of the drivers. The relevant law was signed by President Vladimir Putin. The document published on the official portal of legal information.
In particular, in the determination of tariff insurers will be able, for example, to consider the degree of compliance with the SDA driver and aggressiveness of driving. In addition, the law stipulates that from 1 March to 30 September inclusive the insurance contract may be concluded without the submission of a diagnostic card or the certificate of passing inspection. This is a temporary measure taken in connection with the restrictions imposed due to the spread in the country of coronavirus.
According to representatives of the Russian Union of insurers, the adoption of amendments to the law will reduce accidents on the roads.
In the autumn of last year in Russia came into force amendments to the law about OSAGO according to which motorists will be able to issue a European accident report about the accident in electronic form with the help of mobile applications through the state services portal, as well as remotely to the outcome.
