Ministry for digital development, communications and mass communications of Russia proposed to hold the country’s experiment in which instead of a passport, people can use the mobile app. As reported “Lente.ru” the press service of the Ministry, the experiment on introduction of “Mobile identity” scheduled to be held in Moscow from July 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021.
App users will log in via a verified account on the portal. “Activate the mobile app will be the IFC, even in the presence of a confirmed account”, — said the Ministry.
It is noted that the list of state, municipal and other services, which users will be able to “Cell ID” is not defined. The organizations will agree to participate in the experiment on a voluntary basis.
“The experiment will create conditions for increased speed of services and comfortable conditions for business in the provision of public and commercial services in electronic form,” — say in the Ministry of communications.
Earlier in may, the Ministry of communications has proposed to allow the Russians to use electronic signatures on the portal “public Services”. It is supposed that thus it will be possible to conclude the contract on lease of Federal property and to provide tax reporting, as well as endorse documents on labor relations, employment, training and further education of employees.
