Earlier, Deputy speaker of the state Duma Igor Lebedev did not rule out that the vote could take place on June 24, the same day as the Victory parade. According to him, this assumption was expressed on the basis of conversations in the State Duma among the deputies.
About the possibility of holding a Victory parade and a vote on the Constitution in a single day previously reported and other sources. It was noted that as an alternative to the vote are also considered days in early July, and parade — September 3.
Vote on proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin amendments was scheduled for 22 April, but due to the spread of the coronavirus, it was postponed indefinitely. For the same reason, was cancelled the Victory day parade on red square in Moscow.
