Mass tourists want to be isolated on the Islands after the pandemic coronavirus



The owners of British travel Agency Hays Travel, which has acquired operator Thomas Cook in 2019, spoke about the mass desire of tourists to spend a vacation in the Islands after the pandemic coronavirus. Their words are quoted by the Daily Express.

So, according to the spouses of John (John) and Irene Hayes (Irene Hays,) most of the time their clients want to be isolated in the future in the Balearic Islands in Spain or the channel Islands.

“People really want to escape… And they are actively booking [travel], not this summer, of course, but on the coming winter and for 2021,” said John Hayes.

In addition, he said that in April this year, the company managed to sell more vouchers in the coming seasons, than for the similar period in 2019-th. According to Hasaw when countries gradually began to remove restrictions, “people saw the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Earlier in may, experts of the Swiss organization of aeronautical telecommunications SITA (Societe Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautiques) has warned tourists about possible dangers of travelling after a pandemic coronavirus. So, in their opinion, in the future, countries may close borders at any time for a matter of hours.
