The Russian Union of motor insurers (RAMI) has explained new rules for issuing CTP drivers, according to which violations of traffic rules (SDA) will now be considered when determining the tariff. About it writes RIA Novosti.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the law on new rules of issuance of insurance on may 25. Input rules allow insurers to consider several types of gross violations of traffic rules. These include driving while intoxicated, refusal of medical examination for intoxication or the driver escape the scene of the accident.
In addition, during the year before the contract can take into account the violations that led to the accident (running a red light, moving into the oncoming lane, speeding more than 60 km per hour). Such violations should be fixed speed cameras.
Updated standards will come close to full customization in the issuance CTP and will give car owners additional economic incentives not to break the rules, explained in the SAR.
