The Russian company “rot Front” will sue the Ukrainian Roshen because of the label of sweets “Daisy”. This follows from the electronic records of the court of justice.
According to the court, “rot Front” wants to ban Roshen to use an image that would not confuse consumers. The Russian company has already filed a similar lawsuit in 2017 and won the case, but in 2018, the decision was revoked. Now “the Mouth Front” has asked the court to cancel the decision to reject your objection and received a positive response.
Roshen — the most expensive asset of the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Founded in 1996, the Corporation became the largest confectionery manufacturer in Ukraine and one of the largest in Eastern Europe with factories in Russia, Lithuania and Hungary.
The politician has repeatedly claimed that has no impact on the company’s business, but for the time when he led the Ukraine, Roshen sharply increased its income: for example, in 2014, profit increased almost nine times. The trend continued in the following years. In 2018, the last full year of the presidency Poroshenko, the increase was 44 percent.
