The energy Ministry has offered to return the accrual of penalties for non-payment of housing and communal services from 1 June. About this newspaper “Vedomosti” with reference to the statement of Deputy energy Minister of Russia Yuri Manevich.
Earlier, the government decided that penalties for utility services will not apply until 1 January of the following year. Thus, the Agency proposed to cancel the moratorium on the accrual early. As noted in the Ministry, the validity period may be extended by two months for people who find themselves in a difficult situation.
This moratorium is proposed to introduce for the enterprises of small and medium-sized businesses from the most affected industries. In addition, they wanted to enable some options of repayment: lump sum or in equal installments. The second option is for three months, the percentage of installments in this case will be equal to the size of the key rate of the Central Bank plus two percent.
According to estimates of the Camera while maintaining the moratorium until the end of the year the shortfall in income in the electricity and heat for power plants operating in combined mode, can be up to 700 billion rubles. This will negatively affect
the entire chain of the life cycle and will jeopardize sustainable power and heat supply of the country, considered the official.
The proposal to reduce the period of the stay is included in the plan of the Ministry of energy on high priority activities in support of power companies. At the moment the document is directed on consideration in the government apparatus.
