Member of the UK government Douglas Ross resigned for violating the quarantine of Dominic Cummings, adviser to the Prime Minister of great Britain. It is reported by Politico.
He stressed that he resigned in protest caused by the act of Cummings. Ross wrote Johnson a letter in which he explained his decision: he said that, having remained in office, would have acted in bad faith.
According to the Minister, Advisor to the British Prime Minister was wrong, because all citizens comply with the requirements of London. Ross thought that his resignation is an expression of the views of most Britons.
“I have constituents who can’t say goodbye to loved ones, family that cannot mourn together, ( … ), due to the fact that follow the instructions of the government,” he said.
