Army of an internationally recognized national consensus government (NTC) of Libya for 48 hours suspended operations against the fighters of the Libyan national army (LNA) field Marshal Khalifa the Haftarot. Thus Tripoli gives you the opportunity to avoid escalation of the conflict, Anadolu Agency reports.

It is noted that the government’s army would not strike the vehicles and equipment of fighters of the Haftarot, retreating to the cities South of Tripoli. It will, however, continue to patrol the area and retaliate if the LDF will try to move North. In the NTC added that it was “a last chance for illegal armed groups in the East of Libya”.

Now the LDF is fighting with NTC forces, on the side which is Turkey, supplying it with equipment, ammunition and air support. Under the control of the Haftarot troops to support Egypt and Saudi Arabia, is also its unofficial allies are France and the UAE — the latter, according to some, supplying the LDF technique, including purchased from Russia.

Moscow is regularly credited with the support of field Marshal, but the Kremlin said that as in contact with the Haftarot and the PNS. However, it is known that field-Marshal in 2018 was in Moscow for talks with defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and chief of General staff Valery Gerasimov; the meeting was attended by St. Petersburg businessman Evgeny Prigozhin, who is associated with the so-called private military company Wagner, whose soldiers allegedly fought on the side of the army of field Marshal before the start of the offensive on Tripoli. President Vladimir Putin in turn said that if Libya is the Russian citizens, they do not represent the interests of the Russian Federation and do not receive government funding.
