The chief psychiatrist of the Ministry of health Yevgeny Bryun suggested to prevent the workers of experts who will identify drinking Russians at work. He stated, describing the increased mortality of the working age population in Russia. His words “Interfax” on Tuesday, may 26.

“We [specialists-narcologists] don’t really want to see in the workplace, and we must enter in groups, to identify those abusers and offer treatment or rehabilitation activities. (…) The trade unions practically do not address this problem,” said Bruhn, noting that alcohol consumption in Russia per capita is on average about 11 litres per year at a rate of 2 liters.
