Russia has denied sending military aircraft to Libya

The first Deputy head of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Vladimir Jabbarov has denied sending Russian military aircraft in Libya. About it reports “Interfax” on Wednesday, may 27.

“The Russian military is nothing without the sanction of the President of the Russian Federation and the Federation Council never abroad will not send. (…) This attempt to compromise Russia in the world arena”, — said the Senator.

According to him, the upper house of the Parliament a request for consent to send to Libya the Russian military didn’t arrive. Jabbarov underlined that the Russian side is interested in peaceful settlement of the conflict.

On the eve of the Africa command of the US Armed forces announced that Russia has sent to Libya MiG-29 and su-35 and su-24 bombers.

Meanwhile, the first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on defense Andrei Krasov said that these data do not correspond to reality.
