The transit of Russian gas through Poland along the route of the Yamal — Europe completely stopped. Delivery on Thursday, may 28, has fallen to zero, reports RIA Novosti, citing data from gas transmission operators in Germany and Poland.

Receive natural gas at the German border stopped at 06:00 local time. Polish platform for the distribution of capacity GSA Platform indicates that from that moment all pipeline capacity available for booking.

Previously, the same situation happened on Tuesday, may 26. Before the supply fell consistently during the week, so on Monday, when the transit was preserved, was booked only 10 percent of capacity.

“Gazprom” has almost ceased to use the route via Poland after the completion of the transit contract. Under the current conditions, the company has to reserve capacity at auction on a daily basis until July 1.

In the third quarter already booked 80 percent of the volume of pumping. Polish gas operator Gaz System does not indicate who was the winner of the auction, but experts agree that the use of the pipeline can only be a Russian monopoly. In July the auction will be held for the reservation of capacity for one year.

The Commissioner of the government of Poland on issues of energy infrastructure Piotr Naimski said earlier that the country hopes to enhance the volume of supply on the new format of cooperation. In this case the refusal to extend the contract Warsaw noted that he expects to make more money on transit.
