Russia has offered the world health organization (who) eight vaccines against coronavirus, said a representative of the organization in Russia, Melita Vujnović. About it RIA Novosti reported on Thursday, may 28.
“Russia’s contribution is very large. We have registered eight vaccine candidates from different institutes of the Russian Federation”, — she noted.
Everything in the world is developing a 124 potential vaccine, 10 of them are undergoing clinical trials, said Vujnović.
Earlier it was reported that clinical trials of three promising domestic vaccines against the virus SARS-CoV-2 will begin on June 29. Already are preparing for mass production of the product.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Director on scientific work of Institute of epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Aleksandr Gorelov believes that a vaccine for the coronavirus, is not likely to become universal, for each group of the population, it may be different. He explained that the vaccine needs to be safe including for pregnant women.
