The Ukrainian delegation in the Trilateral contact group (TCG) on settlement of the conflict in the Donbass, stressed the need to establish a perpetual, unconditional and sustainable implementation of the silence regime. About it reports a press-service of office of the President of Ukraine.
“In addition, Ukraine insisted on the necessity of securing from the Russian side, unconditional and unfettered access of SMM OSCE for fixing, in particular, possible violations of silence regime, ensure the movement of humanitarian missions,” — said in the message.
During the discussion in the working group on political issues of the TAG for the elections on the territory of the breakaway republics of Donbass, the representatives of the Ukrainian side stated that the vote may pass only after the requirements of security.
“In particular, after the withdrawal of foreign troops from Ukrainian territory and the disarmament of military forces, Ukraine’s border control and exclusively under Ukrainian law, provided that the activities of Ukrainian mass media, political parties, international observers,” — said the President’s office.
On may 27 the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dimitry Kuleba said that the administration of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics (DPR and LPR) will not exist in conditions when the Ukrainian side will get control of the border with Russia.
Previously, the self-proclaimed Republic of Donbass brought their military units in full combat readiness because of the repeated violations of the ceasefire by the Ukrainian side.
