The Chernobyl exclusion zone opens again to tourists in the course of weakening the quarantine imposed because of a pandemic coronavirus. On Friday, may 29, UNIAN reports citing the State Agency for exclusion zone management (GAS) of Ukraine.
On the territory of the exclusion zone are allowed to conduct different events, but subject to the restrictions defined by government decree. Visitors will measure the temperature. They must wear masks, gloves and have a disinfectant for the hands and to comply with social distance.
In addition, during the adaptive quarantine will remain prohibited from visit certain sites. Will operate a single one-day route: village of Zalesie, the cities of Chernobyl and Pripyat, the object “Chernobyl-2”, Kopachi village and a viewing platform of the Chernobyl NPP. In the group of visitors should be no more than 10 people.
Earlier, the Ukrainian government decided on the introduction until June 22 adaptive quarantine for gradual removal of restrictions.
