The Russian foreign Ministry urged Russians to temporarily refrain from planning vacations abroad. On Friday, may 29, reports “Interfax” with reference to the Agency.
As noted in the Ministry, citizens should consider that the most popular countries and resorts has not yet made any statements about the opening of the borders for Russians, some information will appear only at the end of June.
“The threat of the spread of coronavirus in the world is not overcome. Because the decision to resume passenger flights must be carefully designed and take into account the epidemiological situation”, — stressed in the Department, calling on Russians to “exercise caution to preserve the positive trends in the country.”
In addition, the foreign Ministry recalled that the EU has so far discussed only the possibility of opening the internal borders between the Schengen countries. The favorable development of the situation this will happen in June or July, and only then will it will be possible to talk about the resumption of foreign tourism.
“In the case of Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Switzerland to talk about the full restoration of transport communication and tourism exchanges with Russia, is premature,” — said the Ministry.
As explained in the foreign Ministry, the entry into these countries for citizens of States outside the EU is restricted on the background of the pandemic. Because the Russians will not be able to visit them even in the presence of valid Schengen visas.
Citizens who travel to European countries immediately after the opening of borders, we should be ready to find on a 14-day isolation, the report says.
