President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the possibility to distribute “helicopter money” businesses, writes BelTA.
According to him, the authorities are ready to allocate funds only for specific profitable projects and contracts. “Just to throw money, no one will” — said the Belarusian President during his visit to Minsk tractor plant.
Lukashenko noted the importance of the pandemic in the fashion industry, enterprises continued to operate and provide the salaries of the working groups.
Belarus has not imposed strict quarantine restrictions to combat the coronavirus. Lukashenko is explained by economic reasons. In his opinion, Belarusians have to work and to escape from the crisis, “as soon as possible.” He noted that the decision not to impose a quarantine was correct, because rich countries of the West faced a “wild unemployment” where people “Bang on pots”.
According to the latest data, in Belarus, the coronavirus has infected 39 of 858 people, 219 died 16 660 patients were cured.
