The situation in Libya is deteriorating, and the truce completely thwarted. About it told the official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, RIA Novosti reported.
“Fighting, as you well know, was resumed in full,” she said. Zakharov stressed that the situation continues to deteriorate.
The situation in the country worsened after the end of April, the Libyan national army (LNA) field Marshal Khalifa the Haftarot announced the taking on the authorities in Libya and the exit of Shirinskogo agreement on which was formed the national consensus government (NTC). Russia and the European Union condemned these actions, stating that they will not lead to a sustainable solution to the conflict, which the parties agreed in January in Berlin.
Currently the LDF is fighting with NTC forces, on the side which is Turkey, supplying it with equipment, ammunition and air support. Under the control of the Haftarot troops to support Egypt and Saudi Arabia, is also its unofficial allies are France and the UAE — the latter, according to some, supplying the LDF technique, including purchased from Russia.
In 2011, the Libyan civil war began, was overthrown and killed who ruled the country since 1969, Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Now in the country there are two parallel Executive body: international recognized the NTC and the transitional Cabinet, operating in the East of Libya, together with the Parliament and the LDF.
