Prom will be held in Russian schools online on 27 June. While full-time events can take place in those regions, which to this day will be the third phase of the lifting of restrictions. This is stated in the message published on the website of the Ministry of education on Friday, may 29.
June 27 will be held the national event “Prom” in the final part which will include the annual festival “Scarlet sails”. Holding an in-person graduation will be possible at the end of the examination campaign of the Unified state examination (use) in strict accordance with all requirements of CPS.
“Prom is a great tradition, it brings together seniors, their parents and teachers. (…) It is in any case not to allow this celebration was marred by the illness of someone from children or teachers, and, unfortunately, in most regions, it is still a dangerous epidemiological situation”, — said the head of the Ministry of education Sergey Kravtsov.
Russian universities, colleges and schools are fully moved to distance learning because of the pandemic coronavirus. To conduct the exam in a remote format was not possible because, as explained by the head of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev, technologically, the system is not ready. In this regard, the dates were postponed twice already. According to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, in 2020 the exam will begin on June 29. Traditional latest calls, in turn, have already passed in most regions in online mode. In Russian universities the graduation was also decided to conduct remotely.
