The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that the news about the shootout near Kyiv reminded him of the 1990-ies, reports “LIGA.News”.
The head of state held a meeting with Premier Denis Megalam and Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.
“What happened even collisions can not be called. It was like the 90s” — said Zelensky. He demanded to find and attract responsible customers and to help people who suffered because of the incident.
Avakov reported that the conflict happened between passenger carriers, according to the preliminary version, due to corruption schemes in the tendering. The shootout was attended by about 100 people, three buses with armed men came from Kiev, one from the Vinnytsia region.
Earlier, Deputy interior Minister of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko reported that in the town of Brovary, Kyiv region there was shootouts between gangs, roofs carriage taxis.
