The Ministry of justice of Russia made in the new draft of the administrative code a penalty of up to seven thousand rubles for refusal medical examinations and vaccinations required by law, Interfax reports.
“Sanctions will not affect the majority of citizens who for whatever reason are not vaccinated according to the national schedule of vaccination”, — said the Deputy Minister of justice Denis Novak.
According to the official, administrative liability will only arise in cases where vaccination is mandatory in accordance with the law on sanitary-epidemiological control.
The current wording of the administrative code does not provide penalties for failure to vaccinate, said, “Interfax”.
