The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova described the withdrawal of Russia from the restrictions, saying that at the same time to remove measures from all regions will not work. On Sunday, may 31, she said in an interview Naila Asker-zade on the channel “Russia 24”, reports RIA Novosti.
According to Popova, all regions will implement a plan for the removal of restrictions in different ways, depending on the statistics of the infected and the survivors, as well as the level of risk of re-emergence of coronavirus infection.
“But we hope that this process will be successful. Today we have a certain number of subjects in the first stage, a certain amount — much less, of course — on the second, but the dynamics are there, the process goes on, it is positive,” — said the head of Rospotrebnadzor.
Popov also said that the number of regions with positive statistics, that is, those that is less infected and more healthy, become more. In her opinion, this is an important sign of successful completion of the epidemic of the coronavirus.
As of may 31, in Russia revealed 9268 new cases of infection with coronavirus. The total number of infected for the time of the pandemic exceeded 400 thousand. The number of survivors increased by 4.4 thousand and reached 171,8 thousand.
