This was stated by Professor of the Moscow state medical University named after I. M. Sechenov, the President of the Russian Association of public health Andrey Dyomin.
He referred to the statistics hospitalized in Wuhan. In addition to these complications in patients observed violations of the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, liver, brain, peripheral nervous system, blood vessels, microcirculation. It was also noted cutaneous manifestations.
Demin added that even in the absence of clinical manifestations of the infection, in infected, in some cases, changed functions of the immune system, liver, kidneys and other organs and systems.
Speaking about the complications after recovery, the Professor highlighted that at the present time, statistics of long-term complications has not been studied. However, according to him, the consequences of infection are numerous, and the medical community is faced with the task of developing a system of medical rehabilitation of people who suffered this disease.
On 31st may, worldwide more than 6 million people infected with coronavirus, of which over 367 thousand died, more than 2.5 million cured. The most affected from infection of the country — USA, Brazil, Russia, UK and Spain. In Russia, the coronavirus was confirmed in 396 575 people.
