British writer J. K. Rowling who wrote the series of books about wizard Harry Potter, was accused of transphobia after her Twitter.
Rowling did a repost of the publication in the media with the headline: “Opinion: after COVID-19 need to create a more just world for people who are menstruating”. The writer commented on the article with the words: “”People who are menstruating”. I’m pretty sure there was a word for these people. Sunshine? Gandini?”.
As a result, the network users have accused Rowling of transphobia (hostility to transgender and transsexual people — approx. “Of the tape.ru”). However, she said she knows and likes TRANS-men.
In December 2019 Rowling became the leader of the ranking of the highest paid writers in the world. Its revenue experts estimated at 92 million dollars (5.7 billion rubles).
