British intelligence services recruited Syrian terrorists for information about Russia

The UK intelligence services were forced to work for the terrorists in order to obtain information about military facilities in Syria. This was told by a former militant of the terrorist organization “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia) Mohammed Hussein Saud, reports TASS.

He noted that British intelligence was on to him through intermediaries and promised to provide all the necessary: money, phones, cameras. His mission was to photograph the objects of Syrian intelligence and the Russian and Syrian armies. The images he was sending to special services via the Internet. According to Saud, later at the Russian base had planned to arrange a terrorist attack.

Former militant noted that he had met with intelligence officials on the border with Jordan, at the us military base of al-TANF. He went from Palmyra (North-East of Damascus), where he worked for IG.

In April, the militants surrendered to Syrian government forces, told about the preparation of U.S. sabotage in the country. According to them, US instructors trained for sabotage on oil facilities and transport infrastructure. In addition, they were preparing terrorist acts on the territory controlled by Syrian government forces.
