Russia managed to survive the trials associated with coronavirus, due to the fact that the country is not in conflict with the principles of compassion and mercy. This was stated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a meeting in the videoconference mode with the social workers, reports TASS.
The President thanked the meeting participants for their participation in the protection of Russians from the coronavirus.
“We have been and still are going through severe trials and withstood them because a step has not receded from the timeless moral norms: compassion, mutual aid, charity,” — said Putin.
According to him, these values have historically formed the Russian people. “They share the vast majority of citizens of our country,” the President added.
Earlier on 8 June, the Chairman of the Public chamber of Moscow Konstantin Remchukov said that the regime of self-isolation, permits and a schedule of walks will be canceled in Moscow on 9 June. “The cafe will open from June 16, summer porch,” he said.
In recent days in Russia revealed 8 985 new cases of coronavirus in 83 regions. Since the beginning of the pandemic coronavirus was confirmed at 476, 658 people in 85 regions.
