The head of Ministry of economic development Maxim Reshetnikov spoke about the implementation of credit programs of business support at 2 percent per annum; weekly applications were submitted, totaling 30 percent of the total limit. He declared it on air “Russia-1”, reports TASS.
According to the Minister, these indicators suggest that businesses really expect to keep the employment.
On 2 June it was reported that in Russia there is a new credit program employment support under 2 percent per annum for the enterprises of the sectors most affected by the spread of infection. Thus, if the entrepreneur obtained a loan and within six months retained 90 percent of jobs, the government is committed to fully pay the debt. If stored was only 80 percent of the jobs, the state will pay only half of the loan and interest thereon.
New loan program involves the payment of one minimum wage for each employee for six months. In addition, 85 percent of the loan will be secured by a state guarantee. Maturity April 1, 2021.
Russian businesses are all sorts of support measures in a pandemic coronavirus. So, banks started giving companies interest-free loans for staff salaries, but also gave the SMEs the opportunity to issue credit vacation. In addition, the country canceled more than 200 thousand of routine inspections of business in 2020 and unscheduled inspections must be agreed with the Prosecutor’s office.
Support for entrepreneurs is provided by the national project “Small and medium entrepreneurship”, which is implemented in Russia at the initiative of President Vladimir Putin. It involves the increase in the number of employees in small and medium enterprises, including individual entrepreneurs, to 25 million people by the end of 2024, increasing the share of SMEs in GDP to 32 per cent and the share of exports of SMEs — up to 10 percent of the total by 2024. Only the implementation of the project it is planned to allocate more than 481 billion.
