In Rostov-on-don have detained a local police officer who was accused of drug trafficking directly to the police Department. On Monday, June 8, according to the publication Baza.

According to the newspaper, the Russian police, being on a workplace, offered to the local resident to purchase the 3.78 grams of heroin, that is a large size. The suspect was arrested and a day later he was dismissed from service. Concerning the man criminal case under article 228 of the criminal code (“Attempt at sale of narcotics in the large size”).

The now former police officer faces up to 20 years in prison. The suspect worked in law enforcement for about ten years and rose to the rank of Lieutenant. Last six months worked as a district 8-the metro police Department.

On 29 April it was reported that in the suburban town of Shchyolkovo arrested five police officers on suspicion in trade in mephedrone through the online store. Among the detainees are two policemen acted as skladchikov, two operators and one organizer.
