In the Samara region in the year 2020 with high speed Internet access has already provided more than 100 social facilities. On Tuesday, June 9, reported the head of the Department of information technologies and communications of the region Konstantin Presnyakov, reports TASS.
“Last year was connected to 219 this year connected 110 of the 270 planned. Work don’t stop,” said Presnyakov during an online conference.
According to him, until the end of 2021 to the Internet plan to connect 1490 socially significant objects almost 900 settlements of the region. The official said that all the work implemented within the framework of the national project “Digital economy”.
The national project “Digital economy” approved by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and should be completed by 2024. Only its implementation is planned to allocate more than 1.8 trillion rubles. In particular, it implies an increase of internal costs for the development of the digital economy at the expense of all sources, the creation of sustainable and secure information and telecommunications infrastructure for high speed transmission, processing and storage of large amounts of data, as well as the transfer of government agencies and organizations to use mainly software developed in Russia.
