The crime rate among the migrants who lost their jobs and remaining in Russia, may increase. This warned the Deputy Chairman of the security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, reports TASS.
“The consequences of a pandemic, and hence the increase in crime in certain areas can be quite long, bearing in mind the likely aggravation of the situation with the infection, and the new wave of the epidemic, and possible limitations if they are still necessary”, — said Medvedev.
He hoped that the coming out “of this extremely difficult period,” and noted that “in General, our public security system has proved its effectiveness” during a pandemic coronavirus.
Earlier in June it became known that Russia consider the introduction of rules under which the employers when hiring employees for skilled jobs would be obliged to give preference to nationals and not to foreigners. The labor report mentioned the introduction of the country’s “measures for the priority employment of national staff for skilled jobs.”
In may, Medvedev said that the pandemic coronavirus, most likely, forever changed the world. According to him, in such circumstances and the company, and the state needs to develop a new model of behavior that will meet the new realities.
