Working on 1 July, the Russians will receive higher wages, said the head of the social Committee of the Federation Council Inna Svyatenko. It was quoted by RIA Novosti on Wednesday, June 10.
Previously, this day was declared by President Vladimir Putin on weekends in connection with the carrying out of the all-Russian voting on amendments to the Constitution. The vote will take place at the polling stations on 1 July and within six days prior to that date on the grounds outdoors. Voters will distribute masks, gloves and disposable handle, and at the entrance to the stations will measure temperature.
June 24 will also be a day off with pay. Earlier the President announced the holding of this day of the Victory parade, which was held on may 9 because of a pandemic coronavirus.
Among the 400 proposed amendments, the priority of Russian laws over international, as well as the right of Putin to run again for the presidency.
