Members of the movement “Volunteers of the Constitution” will open more than three thousand information boards throughout Russia on amendments to the basic law and the national vote, the Chairman of the Board of the Association of volunteer centres Artem Metelev. It is quoted by TASS on Wednesday, June 10.
“We tried over what to assemble a large team of people — more than 114 thousand people gave their applications. Children were trained as it should be,” said Metelev at the meeting with the head of the Central election Commission Ella Pamfilova.
He said that all the polling stations, volunteers will help with limited mobility, as well as to measure the temperature of voters.
In turn Pamfilova asked the participants to participate in monitoring the voting process. According to her, the CEC is interested and that the procedure was transparent.
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has declared the polling day on 1 July. However, citizens will be able to vote starting from June 25. This is done in order to reduce the load on polling stations in a pandemic coronavirus.
Total was made about 400 amendments, however, the ballot for voting on amendments will only contain two options: “Yes” and “no”.
