Evaluation of population immunity to the virus SARS CoV-2 will be held in June in three pilot regions — Petersburg, Tyumen, and Khabarovsk Krai, reported on the website of Rospotrebnadzor.
The study will collect information on the presence of antibodies in children aged one to 17 years and adults of various age groups, including those older than 70 years.
The service noted that the data obtained will be used to develop epidemiological projections for planning preventive measures and identifying features of the epidemic process.
Previously, the CPS estimated that at the moment in the country immunity to coronavirus have 14 percent of citizens. Best of all antibodies produced in children, one in five tested minor. Among pensioners, the figure is 11 percent.
